Thank you for visiting our website. Byrne Custom Woodworking was founded in a two car garage in Kansas City, MO in 1989. The founder of the company, Ian Byrne immigrated to the United States in 1987. With him, he brought Old World techniques and methods learned from an extensive apprenticeship in his native Ireland. The company has expanded steadily over the years. Soon moving to a double-bay, then a 4,000 square foot metal building. We now have 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and finishing space in an underground facility. We specialize in high end custom architectural woodworking, serving both the residential and commercial sectors. Some of the items that we build include one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces, household cabinetry, architectural millwork and custom built plantation shutters.
